Admission Policy
The Winnebago Preschool will accept any child between the ages of three and six years of age. A child entering the three-year-old program must turn three by September 1 of that school year. A child entering the four-year-old program must be four by September 1 of the school year. This is based on the "cut off" dates used by the Winnebago School District #323. A physical is required the first year and is good for two years.
School Hours and Days
Three year old class meets on Tuesday's and Friday's from 8:15 - (10:15) 10:45 a.m.
Four year old class meets on Monday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's from
8:15 - 11:15 a.m. or 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.

Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes
Does my child need a physical and/or vaccinations?
Yes, Exam must be dated no more than 6 months prior to the start of school and include TB test and a lead addessment. All vaccinations must be current including the Chicken Pox vaccination (Varicella).
In case of bad weather, how will I know if the preschool is closed?
The Preschool follows the Winnebago School District #323 policies. If the district is closed so is the Preschool.
Can I being in treats for my child's birthday?
Yes, please let the staff know a week ahead if possible.

Winnebago Preschool is a non-profit, self-supporting corporation licensed by the State of Illinois and governed by a VOLUNTARY board of directors. The preschool is not affiliated with any church organization or public school system. All tuition collected will be used for the operation of the preschool. Those fees include teacher's salaries, utilities, building maintenance, liability insurance, large equipment and continuing education for the staff.
